Meet Ollie, Official Mascot of the Oregon Outlaws (ESSOM Spring League)
Deep in the towering Douglas firs of the Pacific Northwest, lived a mysterious owl known only by whispered legend. Locals spoke of a shadow that glided silently between trees, watching over travelers and enforcing his own brand of woodland justice.
That owl was Ollie—once a quiet forest guardian, until one fateful spring night when he discovered an Outlaws baseball cap hanging from a branch. When he perched on it, something changed. The baseball cap awakened his bold streak, his swagger, and his love for the game of baseball being played by the Outlaws under the summer lights. Ollie swooped into Rose City Stadium, claimed his spot on the dugout rail, and instantly became part of the team’s spirit.
Now he’s the fearless face of the Big Green Machine, patrolling the stadium, rallying crowds, and keeping rival teams in check with a sharper stare and a fierce hoot - and the crowd shouts “HOOT! There it is!” Mischievous yet loyal, wild yet wise, Ollie is the bird who brings the Outlaws energy every single game.
