Championship Series, Game #4 - Houston 4, Minnesota 3 (10 innings). For the third game in a row that score was 4-3, and for the second game in a row Houston had a walkoff victory. This time the hero was George Springer, who won the game with a 10th inning homer off Minnesota reliever Sam Dyson. Houston now leads the series 3 games to 1 and is 1 victory away from their second league championship [Houston's previous championship came in Blue Sox Season #1, using the 2017 MLB rosters]. Houston took a 2-0 lead against Minnesota starter Kyle Gibson in the bottom of the 1st when George Springer singled, Michael Brantley tripled to score Springer, and Yordan Alvarez singled to score Brantley. Houston starter Wade Miley gave up a solo homer to Byron Buxton in the 3rd and a 2-run homer to Miguel Sano in the 4th, and Minnesota now had a 3-2 lead. Gibson lasted only 4-1/3 innings, loading the bases in the bottom of the 4th, and Minnesota reliever Tyler Duffey walked Alex Bregman to force in a run and knot the score at 3-3. There was no further scoring until Springer's heroics in the bottom of the 10th. Houston reliever Will Harris, who pitched 2 hitless innings in the 9th and 10th, got credit for the win. The Game #5 starters will be Justin Verlander for Houston and Jose Berrios for Minnesota, the same pitchers who faced off in Houston's 6-1 game 1 victory at Target Field.

The Houston Astros nipped the Minnesota Twins in 10 innings 4 to 3 at Minute
Maid Park in a hard fought contest.
The score was knotted at 3 after nine innings. Houston won the game in the
10th inning. After an out was recorded, George Springer clubbed a solo home
run resulting in an exciting win for Houston and a raucous post-game
celebration by the home town fans. Houston had only 6 hits for the night.
